I went to the dentist all my life and never I have heard of a dentist with x-ray vision that can tell you that you have 5 cavities just by looking at your teeth! You have to use your tool like they tough you at school! She cleaned my teeth and you know that feeling you have when you get out of the dentist and your teeth are so clean. Well did not get that here! So very disappointing and expensive experience. Not recommended!

I’m rarely compelled to write reviews, but I wanted to in this case. The service I received from the dental staff and dentist was exceptional. I would compare the care and treatment to any dental clinic in the USA, the clinic is very nice and the equipment used was exactly the same as I have seen in the USA. If you have a dental emergency (as I did the first time I used this dentist) or a scheduled dental treatment, this is the place!

I LOVE Dental Destinations Cancun. In Feb I had 2 teeth pulled and a bone graft placed. In June I had 2 implant posts placed along with 1 root canal and 6 crowns. The 2 dentists (Dr. Berron and Dr. Bertran), the endodontist, and the office staff were all phenomenal (especially Antony & Rosa!).

During my first visit they evaluated my CT scan and made a thorough plan of care. In the USA when part of your care is done by an Oral Surgeon, and part done by a dentist, and part done by an endodontist it is difficult to feel like anyone is looking out for the big picture. At this office the dentist sat down and we evaluated the CT scan together. He covered all of my options and his recommendation for each tooth. There was plenty of time for questions. The Dr. Bertran then turned to me and asked, "What would you like me to do for you during this visit." This was the beginning of a wonderful time of my mouth being restored!

My second visit I completed a whole lot of dental work. I had a new CT scan to ensure I was clinically ready to proceed with the implant process. There was one especially tricky tooth that the office in Cancun recommended being treated (with root-end surgery) in the united states. Not because they were unable to perform the surgery, but because they wanted to ensure I had proper follow up. This showed me that they were not trying to get the most money possible from me, they were looking out for my best interests. (They were right, too, I did need extra follow up with that tooth!)

During my visit they took care of my transportation needs. I had Dr. Berron's personal phone number if I had medical questions. I had Antony's contact if I had questions about Cancun. When I was in the office I was Dr. Berron's ONLY PATIENT! So different from the dentists in the USA who hop from chair to chair. At their office I had their undivided attention. I was clearly in expert, caring hands. I received top-notch care, 40% cheaper than in the US.

I cannot recommend this office highly enough! I can't wait to take my last dental vacation down to Cancun to finish up my 2 implants!

Living in Alaska, our dental options are limited, and often very expensive. This was the case, when my local dentist wanted to replace two old crowns and repair three 'original teeth' with crowns. Luckily, I was sitting down in the chair when he said the total cost would exceed $10,000.00, after applying my insurance!
My wife and I had a trip coming up for our wedding anniversary, and I found Dental Destinations Cancun when I decided to look into a dental services opportunity during our vacation. I requested more information from their website, and was contacted via email by Antony DeSousa. I forwarded my recent dental exam report and x-rays for review by Dr. Berron. We stayed in touch until we arrived in Cancun, then met for the initial appointment. I was very pleased to find that Dr. Berron had a modern professional dental office and staff. We discussed the treatment plan, agreed on the pricing, and began the dental prep for the crowns. Dr. Berron is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and was educated, and taught at LSU. His skill and expertise were evident to me, as soon, as he began the prep work. Since they own their own lab, the five crowns were ready for installation in just seven days. Antony arranged for all transportation to and from our hotel for all of the appointments, including the adjustments to the fit, following the crown installation. Every facet of the experience was positive, and I would highly recommend Dr. Berron and Dental Destinations Cancun to anyone seeking expert dental care and professional customer service. I smile all the time, and have told many of my friends and relatives about this great dental experience.
